WHO ARE WE?

My name is Bill Kunz.  I am what one might call, a serial entrepreneur.  I have had many business in my life.  Some successful and some, well ... not so much.  I strive to learn and grow with every new venture.  

My business background ranges from being a small one man shop, to being an executive at a publicly traded Fortune 1000 company.  At this point in my life I wanted to build something more personal.  Something that touches the heart of what makes people want to get out of bed in the morning.

Why anchors?  Well, because I saw a need and a passion.  When I was in college I was a whitewater raft guide.  We didn't use anchors.  Then more recently, at the urging of close friends, I bought a raft to use on the many rivers of NW Montana.  I was shocked to see that every drift boat and raft had the same boring pyramid chunk of lead hanging off the back.  I felt like it was my duty to show people that it doesn't have to be this way.

So, Whitefish Anchors was born.  I work hard to come up with new creative anchor designs that reflect our customers personalities.  My 16 year old son helps me with manufacturing along with a couple of part time extremely skilled lifetime fabricators.  My daughter helps with our social media presence.  My wife, well, she just wants to go fishing.
